What is adaptive clothing?
Adaptive clothing is clothing that has been designed or modified for people with limited mobility, health conditions, or other challenges that make conventional clothing difficult to use.
Examples include:
- Clothing with Velcro or magnetic closures instead of buttons
- Pants with an elastic waistband that are easier to put on and take off
- Open-back tops
- Clothing with extra room for medical aids or incontinence products
